にもまして (nimomashite) - above everything; more than before

beautiful.

how is this different from　より？ (contributor: dc)

にも+まして（増して）is similar to より here.
I feel　にもまして is more emphasized than より in telling the difference.

「AにもましてBは〜だ」
= A is 〜 but B is even more 〜.
= Aも〜だが、さらにBの方が上だ。 (contributor: blabby)
